UFO Holiday
We got out of school today for the Christmas break. Woo hoo! Twelve happy days of freedom:  knitting, spinning, dyeing. Oh, and I guess Christmas is in there too.
This evening I took stock of my ongoing projects that I’d like to work on over Christmas break.
The sherbet socks. I’d like to actually finish these, because I have a new pair for Rob waiting in the wings.
The black and white superwash roving. I’m close to done with the second bobbin, and then I need to ply.
Blue Bamboo. There’s not much to say about this, except “Get to work!”
The colored Romney fleece. Comb, comb, comb.
The dark brown double-coated fleece. See above.
                                             The stranded yoke sweater.
Oh, and I’d like to do some experiments with dyeing roving and yarn, too.
Place your bets, ladies and gentlemen. Can I get it all done? Or at least a bit of everything?
Ah, the holidays.

I’m betting finishing the socks, making it through the plying, some combing, and at least progress on the two sweaters. Maybe not casually visible, but progress. 😉 Although the sweaters and the previous spinning may be thrown out the window (figuratively!) if you get around to playing with the insidious dyeing. [veg] Then once you’ve got dry, dyed fiber – *that* goes on the wheel!
Any raises?

I think Monica is about on target, although you haven’t made clear what your other commitments are, so we are missing a major variable.
Tae Kwon Do? Baking? Reading? Harvey-related activities?

Well, writing it all down is the first step! At least then you have a good sense of it all and can pick and choose what tempts you most in the moment. Enjoyment is the main thing, after all!

Hi Sarah –
It sounds like you need a “job” jar. Then you just reach in and see what you’re to do next. Saves a lot of contemplation.
Have a wonderful holiday with your days off.
